                            *Notes regarding Legal for Trade Scales*

·       The FX-300iN is a class II legal for trade scale (when inspected). Scales should be inspected at the destination of intended use.

·       McLean Scale will only supply inspected scales to destinations within the geographic area of our local Measurement Canada Office (please inquire).

·       All other destinations require on-site Inspection and Certification by the local Measurement Canada office.

·       Resellers, end-users, retailers etc. are responsible for the calibration and setup of the scale prior to Inspection to ensure scale will be in compliance. For example; gravitational affect will cause a scale calibrated in Ontario to fall out of tolerance when shipped to certain destinations in Canada, the scale will require recalibration prior to Inspection in order to bring it into spec. Since we cannot perform this task from our Ontario office, it is the party applying for inspection of the device that it is responsible for ensuring the scale has been locally calibrated.
